STL FC Internships

Saint Louis FC is currently accepting applications for the Spring and Summer 2017 Internship Program.  These internships provide an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a professional sports environment.

Applications are currently being accepted for Ticket Sales & Service, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing & Graphic Design, Communications & Social Media, Community Relations, Merchandise & Game Day Operations, Operations & Administration, Team Operations, Finance & Accounting, and Facility Operations.

- Internship you're applying for.

- Letter of Interest, including what experiences you are looking to get during your internship.

- Resume, including three references.

- Anticipated start date and end date.

*All internships are unpaid and offered for credit only.  Proof that the applicant is receiving credit for an internship is required, and a minimum of 20 office hours per week will be required for the positions provided.  Hours can be flexible to accommodate work and school schedules.

Ticket Sales & Service

-Work under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Business Development for projects assigned.

-Assist the sales team through effective prospecting and lead generation.

-Sell STLFC season tickets, partial plans, and group ticket packages.

-Research new and creative programs to benefit ticket sales efforts.

-Design and implement lead generation campaigns and programs.

-Complete phone calls and sales orders for ticket delivery.

-Work all Saint Louis FC home games and be available for community events as assigned.

-All other duties assigned at the discretion of the Director of Sales & Business Development.

 

Corporate Partnerships

-Enrolled in a college program at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level and eligible for college credit.

-Pursuit of sport management, marketing, communication, and/or business degree is preferred.

-Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

-Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.

-Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of projects.

-Basic knowledge of soccer and appreciation of the sport is encouraged.

 

Marketing & Graphic Design

-Work under the supervision of the Marketing Manager for projects assigned.

-Assist with the graphic design of sales materials and other promotional materials.

-Create weekly content including video production and written materials.

-Participate in events, promotions, and activities as required.

-Work all Saint Louis FC home games and be available for community events as assigned.

-Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Communications Manager and Marketing Manager.

 

Communications & Social Media

-Work under the supervision of the Communications Manager for projects assigned.

-Assist the front office in day-to-day operations and game day operations.

-Create game notes for media and meet deadlines for league required materials.

-Assist with press releases and writing for print, web content, and social media.

-Create weekly content including video production and written materials.

-Participate in events, promotions, and activities as required.

-Work all Saint Louis FC home games and be available for community events as assigned.

-Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Communications Manager and Marketing Manager

 

Community Relations

-Work under the supervision of the Community Relations Manager for projects assigned.

-Assist in the coordination of events, promotions, and other activities as required.

-Assist with the development and maintenance of the website and social media plan for community service initiatives.

-Research events, community programs, other teams in the league, and promotional items.

-Work with the Director of Sales on fulfillment of donation requests.

-Work all Saint Louis FC home games and be available for all community events.

-All other duties assigned at the discretion of the Community Relations Manager.

 

Merchandise & Gameday Operations

-Work under the supervision of the Merchandise Manager for projects assigned.

-Assist with the development and maintenance of the Online Shop and order fulfillment.

-Assist the front office with day-to-day operations and game day operations.

-Service customers, vendors, promoters, and staff in a professional manner.

-Assist in youth club operations and training gear distribution.

-Work all Saint Louis FC home games and be available for weekend tournaments.

-All other duties assigned at the discretion of the Merchandise Manager.

 

Operations & Administration

-Work under the supervision of the General Manager & Operations Manager for projects assigned.

-Assist the front office in day-to-day operations and game day operations.

-Assist with planning of team operations for the 2017 season.

-Schedule and coordinate events at WWT Soccer Park.

-Interact with clients, promoters, and staff in a professional manner.

-Participate in events, promotions, and activities as required.

-Work Saint Louis FC home games and be available for community events as assigned.

-Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the General Manager and Operations Manager.

 

Team Operations

-Work under the supervision of the General Manager & Operations Manager for projects assigned.

-Assist the technical staff with daily needs including water, training supplies, and field set-up.

-Assist with planning of team operations for the 2017 season.

-Assist with all aspects of team travel and planning trips.

-Work Saint Louis FC home games and be available for community events as assigned.

-Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the General Manager and Operations Manager.

 

Finance & Accounting

-Assist the front office in day-to-day operations & gameday operations.

-Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process.

-Assist in monthly expense tracking.

-Prepare actual vs. budget analysis.

-Perform special projects as assigned.

-Perform other general front office duties as required.

-Participate in events, promotions, and other activities as required.

-Work with Director of Finance on various projects.

 

Facility Operations

-Assist Soccer Park facility staff with day-to-day management.

-Set-up/tear-down of facility both for Saint Louis FC and St. Louis Scott Gallagher events.
