St. Louis, MO – Saint Louis FC has announced the addition of goalkeeper Jack Filla to the 2017 roster, pending USL and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.
Filla was born in St. Louis, MO and went to Fort Zumwalt North High School where he was a four-year varsity starter. He played two seasons at Lewis and Clark Community College in Illinois and helped the team to the first national tournament appearance since 1989 and a sixth-place finish in 2013. Filla was a two-time Regional Goalkeeper of the Year and a Second-Team NSCAA All-American in 2014. He spent two years at the University of Missouri St. Louis and played all but 10 minutes in two seasons. He was an All-GLVC selection and a First-Team NSCAA All-Midwest selection in 2016. In total, Filla accumulated 6804 minutes in net with a 43-25-7 record and 24 shutouts.
