ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced the loan acquisition of midfielder Cameron Lindley and forward Pierre Da Silva from Orlando City SC. Both players arrive on short-term loan deals and are eligible for the game against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC this Saturday, May 26th at 7:00 p.m. CT aired live on local KPLR 11.
Lindley was born in Carmel, Indiana and developed in the Chicago Fire-affiliate youth club Indiana Fire Juniors. He made eight appearances and scored two goals for the Chicago Fire U-23 team during the 2016 PDL season before attending the University of North Carolina. Lindley made 43 appearances and scored seven goals for the Tar Heels over the 2016-2017 seasons where he was named the ACC Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Year in 2016 and ACC Midfielder of the Year in 2017. His Homegrown rights were traded from Chicago Fire to Orlando City SC in January 2018 and he has made three appearances this season for Orlando. Lindley has also represented the U.S. Men’s National Team at U17, U18, and U20 levels with 26 total appearances.
Da Silva was born in Port Chester, New York and developed in the New York SC youth system before joining Orlando City SC in 2014 as a 16 year-old. He made 49 appearances and scored five goals for Orlando City B during the 2016-2017 USL seasons and made one appearance for the MLS side in 2017. Da Silva has represented the U.S. Men’s National Team at U17 and U19 levels with 32 total appearances and four goals scored for his country.
