SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced the loan re-acquisition of forward Pierre Da Silva from Orlando City SC and he will be eligible for the home game this Saturday, July 21st against Orange County SC. The terms of the loan include the away game against Reno 1868 FC on July 28th as well.
Da Silva already featured for Saint Louis FC this season in a lone appearance against Colorado Springs Switchbacks in a 3-0 loss on May 26th where he played 90 minutes. He was born in Port Chester, New York and developed in the New York SC youth system before joining Orlando City SC in 2014 as a 16 year-old. He made 49 appearances and scored five goals for Orlando City B during the 2016-2017 USL seasons and made one appearance for the MLS side in 2017. Da Silva has represented the U.S. Men’s National Team at U17 and U19 levels with 32 total appearances and four goals scored for his country.
“I am really pleased with the addition of Pierre,” said STLFC Head Coach Anthony Pulis. “He’s a young player with a lot of talent, has an excellent left-foot who can score and make goals from the left-side of midfield. I’d like to thank James O’Connor and Niki Budalic at Orlando City for allowing us to add Pierre to our group.”
