ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Saint Louis FC announced their preseason training camp schedule in preparation for the 2019 USL Championship season which will begin with a trip to San Antonio, Texas for a week starting on February 11th. More details about the preseason will be released in the near future to include games that will be played at World Wide Technology Soccer Park.
Players will arrive for physicals and meetings on January 22nd and the first training session of the year will take place on January 28th at WWT Soccer Park (weather-pending) before the team departs for San Antonio for preseason training camp on February 11th. The team will play Austin Bold FC on February 13th in a closed-door scrimmage before facing San Antonio FC on February 16th in a closed-door scrimmage at Toyota Field at 11:00 a.m. CT. Both games will not be open to the public or available to watch online.
"The trip to San Antonio will be very beneficial for the group," said STLFC Head Coach Anthony Pulis. "Not only for on field purposes as we continue to gain an understanding of how we want to play tactically, but also to spend a good amount of time together away from the field and build our team cohesion."
Saint Louis FC opens the 2019 USL Championship season at home against Indy Eleven on Saturday, March 9th at 1:00 p.m. CT. Single-game tickets went on sale today for the home opener and can be purchased by clicking HERE or calling the Saint Louis FC ticket office at 636-680-0997.
