Stadium Health Policies

On August 21, 2020,  Saint Louis FC announced that fans will no longer be permitted at West Community Stadium due to revised St. Louis County protocols.

 

 

The club intends to continue efforts to engage government officials in the hopes of being able to welcome fans back to the stadium at some point during the 2020 season.

Saint Louis FC looks forward to welcoming you back to West Community Stadium for the return of the 2020 season. While we are excited to be back in action, we must ensure the safety of all the fans, players and staff. Please review the following guidelines to ensure that you are ready to enjoy a day at West Community Stadium under safe conditions while adhering to our COVID-19 policies.

 

TICKETS

In the interest of public health and safety, single game tickets are no longer available for future matches at this time in order to implement social distancing measures within West Community Stadium.

STAFFING

All game day staff and vendors will be adhering to a strict policy requiring temperature checks, PPE usage (including face coverings) and have been properly trained to abide by the regulations set forth by the Saint Louis County Health Department’s COVID-19 guidelines.

HEALTH CHECKS/MASKS

All fans in attendance will be required to wear a mask/face covering at all times while inside West Community Stadium. Children under the age of 2 years old are not required to wear masks.

All fans entering into the stadium will be required to undergo a temperature check. Fans that record a temperature above 100.4 will not be allowed entry into the stadium. Fans who do not pass the temperature screening the first time around will be allowed a fifteen-minute waiting period prior to a second temperature check. If the temperature remains above 100.4 upon the second test you will NOT be allowed into the stadium. Fans who are sick, asymptomatic or have been in close contact with a COVID-19 patient should NOT attend a match.

HAND Washing

There are hand washing and hand sanitizer stations for fans strategically placed throughout the stadium for use. Saint Louis FC requires hand washing after bathroom usage and highly recommends hand washing OR hand sanitizing on a regular basis throughout the match.

Parking/Tailgating

All parking attendants will be wearing masks while working the entrance/exists of the parking lot. Fans can purchase parking on matchday and are discouraged from tailgating prior to entering the stadium. Masks are required to be worn while interacting with STLFC parking attendants.

ENTRANCE/EXITS

Fans are encouraged to use the gate closest to their seating location for entry into the stadium and when exiting the stadium post-match. Social Distancing of 6 feet at all gates is required to ensure the safety of fans in attendance.

SEATING

Fans are required to remain in their assigned seats while watching the match. Due to strict social distancing guidelines fans are NOT allowed to stand and watch the match from the concourse, or other areas designated for concession purchases (Budweiser Biergarten, Bacardi Lounge, Llywelyn’s Pub on the Pitch). Additionally, fans are not allowed to move into open seats or blocked off seating areas to ensure that social distancing guidelines are followed.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

All fans should remain 6 feet apart from each other (if possible) while moving around in West Community Stadium. To accommodate our Season Ticket Members, seating will be anywhere between 4 to 8 feet in-between group seats. At no point will anyone outside of your season ticket party be seated directly next to you, in front of you, or the row behind you. Fans will be encouraged and reminded throughout the match to ensure they are following social distancing protocols, specifically in concessions lines, restrooms and in the STLFC Fan Shop.

Bag Policy

In order to help with the flow of traffic at the stadium gates, only CLEAR BAGS will be permitted at West Community Stadium.

CONCESSIONS

Concession Stands and other Food & Beverage areas have been modified to meet the St. Louis County Health Department COVID-19 guidelines.  

Food and Beverage staff will go through a health screening before starting each work shift and are required to wear a mask and gloves. They will increase the amount of times they sanitize high touch areas, including chip card readers.

The stands will be sanitized and disinfected prior to each game.  There will be 6 feet social distancing floor markers and plexiglass dividers at registers.

Concession Stand menus have been modified to adhere to St. Louis County Health Department COVID-19 recommendations. Food will be served in wrapped or closed containers.  Condiment carts have been removed but individual prepackaged condiments and straws are available upon request. 


We strongly encourage cashless transactions.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms will be limited to 50% occupancy. Stadium security will be monitoring the flow of traffic and are able to stop/continue flow as necessary.

STADIUM CLEANING

Saint Louis FC is strictly adhering to the guidelines and protocols set forth by the Saint Louis County Health Department, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NHS and WHO to ensure the safety of fans, workers and players. All high traffic areas and touch-points (railings, seats, concessions stands, etc) will be thoroughly sanitized pre-match, during and post-match to ensure the highest of safety standards are met.

 

*Failure to comply with the requirements of the protocols in place may result in the individual being removed from the venue and denied access in the future.
